Founded in 1963, Yamachiku has consistently worked to create bamboo chopsticks. Since ancient times, bamboo has been processed into various daily goods - a material that is familiar to the Japanese people. However, as times have changed, the number of bamboo products declined, and the culture of bamboo chopsticks deteriorated. Producing bamboo chopsticks for over 50 years, Yamachiku wants to bring back to origin of Japanese chopsticks.

FEATURE

Made of pure domestic natural bamboo from the mountains of Kumamoto and Fukuoka prefecture, okaeri is a light and flexible eating utensil. The handle is cut into squares, so it does not roll. Delivering 4 different lengths, it offers a range for the whole family. Yamachiku also offers a more durable option with its Bamboo Chopsticks (dishwasher compatible). This product is used by many restaurants: retains the lightness and suppleness of bamboo, its difficult to bend, and the acrylic coating does not peel off easily.

1963年創業の、熊本県南関町で竹のお箸だけを作っているメーカーです。竹は古来より、日本人の身近にある素材として、さまざまな生活用品に使用されてきました。ですが時代の変化と共に、別の素材や輸入品に移行し、国産の竹製品は減少していきました。しかしまた最近では、本物を求める声が多く集まるようになり、私たちが竹のお箸に込めている想いを理解していただく機会も増えてきました。私たちは、これからも実直に、竹の箸だけにこだわり続けていきたいと思います。

特徴

熊本・福岡の山奥から刈り取った純国産の天然竹から作られています。「竹の箸」の特長は、軽く、しなることです。また、箸先にいくにしたがって四角く削り出しているので、食卓で転がりません。サイズは4種類あり、ご家族みんなでお使いいただけます。
また、食器洗浄器に対応したより耐久性の強い箸も取り揃えています。竹の軽さ、しなやかさがありながら、曲がりにくくコーティングも剥がれにくいため、多くのレストランなどでも使用されています。
